In project B3 the spatiotemporal characteristics of species and processes in reactive non-equilibrium plasmas and the interaction of such plasmas with solid surfaces are analysed by numerical modeling. The adaptation of appropriate plasma-chemical models and surface processes and their incorporation into numerical models aim at the determination of the plasma properties, an evaluation of the influence of selected species as well as plasma and surface processes and an improved understanding of the interaction of plasma and flow dynamics.
